Fancy fresh pine-scented air, Black Forest cake, and a touch of living tradition? Just a short drive from Basel, the Black Forest awaits you—a region known for its authenticity, hospitality, and breathtaking landscapes. Discover the Ravenna Viaduct, Lake Titisee, and the charming village of St. Blasien from the comfort of our coach.

On the day of the excursion, all participants will receive a brochure (German/English) with all relevant information about the route and each stop.

Your coach:
The coach is air-conditioned.
The temperature can be individually adjusted at your seat.
Please note that pets are not allowed on this excursion.

What to bring:
As this excursion crosses a national border, a valid ID card or passport is required.
In Germany, payments are made in euros (EUR). We recommend bringing some cash.
Comfortable footwear and weather-appropriate clothing
The route in the Black Forest is winding—consider bringing travel sickness tablets if needed

Guests with reduced mobility can participate in the excursion, provided they are able to board and disembark the bus independently or with the assistance of a companion. Bringing a foldable wheelchair is possible. Non-foldable wheelchairs cannot be transported due to safety and space constraints. If a guest arrives with an unsuitable wheelchair, the driver is entitled to refuse transport for safety reasons.

This is a self-guided tour, allowing you to freely enjoy your time at the various stops. Announcements by the driver will be made in both German and English.

11:00–12:00 – Ravenna Viaduct with cuckoo clock shop, glassblowing workshop, Steigenhaus, wood sawmill, and Galgenbühl Höllsteig as a photo stop
12:00–12:15 – Continue journey
12:30–15:00 – Lake Titisee for lunch & relaxed strolling, boat trip, Ferris wheel, swimming area, etc.
15:00–15:30 – Continue along Lake Schluchsee to St. Blasien
15:45–17:00 – St. Blasien: visit to the cathedral & stop for Black Forest cake
17:15–18:45 – Return journey

Join us on a varied day trip to three special highlights:

The first stop takes you to the Ravenna Viaduct—a true postcard motif. Surrounded by traditional glassblowing craftsmanship and charming cuckoo clocks, you’ll experience the Black Forest in its most authentic form.

Next, we continue to Lake Titisee, where the beautiful lakeside promenade invites you to linger. Here, you’ll have time for a relaxed lunch, a leisurely boat ride, a stroll along the waterfront, or simply a quiet moment by the water.

To round off the day, the journey continues along Lake Schluchsee to the small village of St. Blasien. Here, the impressive cathedral with its neoclassical dome awaits you—an architectural gem. A slice of original Black Forest cake at the Dom Hotel – Restaurant & Café perfectly completes the experience.
