Your first destination is Colmar, known as the “Little Venice” of Alsace. Stroll through the narrow streets of the Old Town, admire the colourful half-timbered houses and taste local specialties in a typical Alsatian restaurant.
Next, the majestic Haut-Koenigsbourg Castle awaits you – a medieval fortress towering high above the vineyards. Explore its impressive walls, enjoy the panoramic view of the surrounding landscape and delve into the fascinating history of this significant site.
As a crowning finale, our trip leads you to Ribeauvillé – a charming medieval village known for its picturesque streets and excellent wines. Here you will have the opportunity to enjoy wine tasting at a local winery and experience the warm hospitality of the locals.

The bus driver’s announcements are in German and English. The tour of Haut-Koenigsbourg Castle includes information signs in German, French and English.

Important information
Participants will receive a brochure (DE/EN) with all relevant information, including the ticket for Haut-Koenigsbourg Castle, during the outbound trip.
We recommend wearing weather-appropriate clothing and comfortable shoes.
Please note: Since this trip crosses the border, you must present a valid ID or passport at the start. It is also advisable to carry some cash. The currency in France is the euro.
Persons with limited mobility can participate in the trip provided they can get on and off the bus independently or with the assistance of a companion. A wheelchair can only be brought along if it is foldable. If a passenger wishes to travel with a wheelchair that does not meet these requirements, the bus driver is authorized to refuse the passenger for safety reasons. The trip is only partially barrier-free: Colmar and Ribeauvillé are accessible to wheelchair users, but Haut-Koenigsbourg Castle is only accessible up to the entrance/lower courtyard.
The bus is air-conditioned, and the temperature can be individually adjusted from your seat.
Pets are not allowed on this trip.

Age recommendation
This trip is also suitable for children. Prams can be transported in the stowage compartment. If you specify your child’s age, an appropriate child seat (excluding children under 9 months) will be provided by the bus company. Please provide your child’s correct age and specify whether you are bringing a pram when booking.
